Fulshear Creek Crossing - Welcome Home

The Town of Fulshear is both rich in tradition and positioned for growth.

The Town of Fulshear, Texas

Steeped in fascinating history, Fulshear Creek Crossing and Fulbrook feature streets, waterways and neighborhoods named in honor of former historical figures and generational residents. Churchill Fulshear and his family settled in this area in 1824 to farm and ranch on Fulshear area land that was granted to Stephen F. Austin by the Mexican government.

As one of the 'originals', this Fulshear family established the area as a center for cotton, cattle, corn, livestock, horseracing and railroad commerce, and built a stunning mansion near the heart of town. When the community's streets were mapped out in 1890, the town was named for Churchill Fulshear, Jr. The quiet, yet colorful town of Fulshear incorporated in 1977, positioning it for future growth and a new chapter of history.
