Fulshear is served by the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District (www.lcisd.org). The Exemplary-rated Huggins Elementary School (photo) is located just one mile from Fulshear Creek Crossing. Less than 15 minutes away are Wertheimer Middle School (opened in Fall, 2008), Briscoe Junior High School and Foster High School.

In November of 2008, the school district announced the purchase of 124 acres for the construction of a new high school, junior high school and a sixth-grade middle school -- all within a mile from Fulshear Creek Crossing.
